A family business since our grand grand fathers, WE the children of Haji B. A. Shah and the grandchildren of Haji P. A. Shah received the houseboat business as heritage. Our grandfather constructed a few houseboats, which he distributed among his children and kept Houseboat New York for my father but kept on looking after the houseboat New York till 1990 (till his age of 90years).

Houseboat New York was constructed in late 1940’s by our grandfather. At that period New York has been a revolution in the houseboat industry because of its size and the most modern bathrooms of that time.Since then the houseboat industry has been evolving day by day and today providing the best possible services & facilities to its guests. Hospitality business is our family business which we continue to run with full interest and to keep welcoming tourists in our houseboat and make them feel at home and make them feel return their trip.

At New York, our aim is to continue this family business by making our customersexperience the most memorable souvenir of their travel programs.
